1. YOU MUST POST INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR COLLEGE ALONG WITH YOUR POST OR YOU LOSE "DIBS." DIBS ARE FOR 9-YEAR-OLDS, NOT COLLEGE HOPEFULS, SO PLEASE ONLY POST WHEN YOU HAVE REAL INFORMATION
1a. the information you post must be useful and should span a minimum of one page (when viewed on microsoft word, with mla formatting, times new roman 12 font, double spaced)
2. dont post your own information (sorry about that... i was too lazy to edit out my own...).
this means no talking about your own chances of getting into a college or your own statistics; try to make this useful for everyone, not depressing.
3. all posts breaking rule 1 will be deleted. those breaking rule 2 will be modified, at the expense of my time, so please make this easy for me.
4. people are allowed to work together concerning a specific college; both or all people working on a single college will recieve credit for that college post. if anyone wishes to "team up" with other students, please post the title of that college under the separate section, which is about to be created.
why am i doing this you may ask?
the point of this project is to produce a compendium of information that everyone can use, and allowing someone who desires a college more than another and will work on that college harder than another basically gives reason for them to post relevant information rather than just making a dibs post. the "dibs post" will be placed elsewhere, for space and logistic reasons.
Basically my point is, to prevent people who are just going to procrastinate from getting priority and allowing those who are actually committed to their college to do a more full and through analysis of their college
NOTE: you dont need to submit all 5 of your colleges for an A, you only need 3 so leave some popular ones for your classmates please? if you seriously feel like overachieving, please note at the top of your extra posts that it is considered "extra," so i can make sure that i won't be marking points off of students who seriously couldn't research other colleges. thank you!
REMEMBER, BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING... AND CONSIDERING HIS SIZE, HE MIGHT JUST EAT YOU
