“Admission to LMU is selective, and each applicant is expected to have a solid record in a broad range of college-preparatory courses and above-average scores in the appropriate standardized exams (SAT I or ACT). When we review applicants, LMU gives individual and painstaking consideration to the student's academic preparation, national test scores, letters of recommendation, and extracurricular activities. A personal interview is not required but is welcomed if it is convenient. Applicants must submit official transcripts from their high school and from any colleges attended, arrange for SAT I or ACT scores to be sent to the Office of Admissions, submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor, and, of course, file an LMU application with the $35 nonrefundable fee. We review applications on a rolling basis. This means your application will be reviewed and a decision will be made as soon as all of these required documents have been submitted. If you are admitted, you will have until May 1 to decide if LMU is the school for you.”
